General note
Certificate of Merit, 1992-93 Financial Post Design Effectiveness Award. A revolutionary breakthrough in micro-circuit technology has enabled Q-Life to introduce the first out-patient drug-infusion program.Patients receiving drug therapy are normally required to stay in the hospital up to eight hours. The design challenge was to make the take-home electronic pump and disposable cassette user-friendly for an out-patient. A comfortable and easy-to-wear design was achieved by the compact and lightweight casing.Clear universal pictograms are used for the electronic display instructions.
