File consists of photographs (many with captions) taken at: the second show by Claire Wilks at the Luba Bystriansky Gallery of drawings done for the book by D.M. Thomas, "In The White Hotel," which was attended by American novelist Richard Ford, American poet Hayden Carruth, Canadian painter Charlie Pachter, and photographer John Reeves, 10 Aug. 1992; the Exile Reading Series at Bistro 990 featuring Thomas and Wilks, 12 Aug. 1992; the Exile Reading Series at Bistro 990 featuring Kirsti Simonsuuri from Finland and Gale Garnett, 2 Sep. 1992, which was attended by Ludwig Zeller, John Reeves, and Diane Keeting; Saratoga Springs with Bill and Dana Kennedy; an evening to celebrate Exile Editions' 20th anniversary at Bistro 990, 15 Sep. 1992, with guests that included Susan Musgrave, John Reeves, John Montague, David Lampe, Tom Hedley, Hayden Carreth, Claire Dé, Marie-Claire Blais, and the Down Child Blues Band. The notebook also contains several pages of annotated handwritten drafts of creative writing.
