Records include research notes and index cards, photocopies of newspaper clippings, book reviews, literary criticism, journal articles, and photocopies of material written by or about the Southern Agrarians regarding their lives and work, as well as their correspondence with Rock. The fonds also contains Rock's personal and professional correspondence, drafts of Rock's final dissertation and articles, records concerning her involvement with the Canadian Women's Studies Association, as well as materials pertaining to Rock's work as a professor at York University, including information about Stong College, syllabi, course kits and reading lists, information about symposiums she attended, and items relating to her work as an instructor and advisor for the Graduate Women's Studies Programme. Journalism files include research materials and interview transcripts and deal with his travels with Pierre Elliott Trudeau in 1968, the crisis involving the Front de liberation du Quebec and implementation of the War Measures Act in 1970, culture, politics and economics in Quebec, and Callaghan's works of political and social commentary for CTV and CBC. The records of Exile Editions make up a significant portion of the fonds, and include manuscripts for books, page proofs, and correspondence. These files show the creative process in considerable detail, and in particular Callaghan's work as an editor and translator. Administrative records for the publisher consist of catalogues, promotional material, writers' guidelines, grant applications, financial documents, and reviews of publications. Callaghan's endeavours as a travel journalist are documented through research notes, manuscripts for articles, correspondence, and promotional literature from various attractions at the locations he visited, including museums, theatres, and tracks for horse racing, 1978 to 1995. Manuscripts and annotated page proofs for Callaghan's Hogg poems, short stories, novels, memoir, and non-fiction trace the development of these works, and in particular his skill and attention to detail as a wordsmith. Callaghan's involvement with radio and television is represented by a variety of sound and moving image recordings, including audiotapes of his interviews with Brownie McGhee and Sonny Terry, videotapes of his television shows for CTV's "W5" and CBC's "Weekend," and original film pertaining to the war in Palestine in 1970, his interview with Angela Davis in 1972, youth culture in California in 1974, John Updike, and "The blues." The fonds also includes considerable material created by or involving Morley Callaghan, including literary agreements, royalty statements, stories by and about Morley Callaghan, manuscripts for several books published by Exile Editions ("Joy in heaven," "The lost and found stories," "The man with the coat," and "A passion in Rome") that provide an understanding of the close working relationship between Morley and Barry Callaghan, letters of sympathy and funeral notices following Morley's death in 1990, and scripts for the CBC movie, "Hemingway vs. Callaghan," 2002-2003. Also included are subject files including literary memorabilia and honorary degrees received.

Accession consists of material documenting the career of Archie Alleyne as a musician, philanthropist, and influential figure in the Toronto jazz music scene. Fonds consists of materials created and accumulated by George Papadatos in the course of his activities as a member of the Toronto Greek Canadian political, arts and cultural community while living in exile in Canada during the Greek military junta of 1967-1974. It includes records relating to his work as a journalist and newspaper editor (as editor of Metanastis and contributor to Ta Nea, amongst other publications); political activist; music promoter, event organizer and co-owner of the Trojan Horse coffee house; East York community service worker; and as tutor of Modern Greek Studies at the University of Toronto (Scarborough College).

The fonds largely consists of photographs, newspapers, promotional material, posters, sound and video recordings. Many of these items were collected by Papadatos to document the coffee house scene on the Danforth, the Greek musical acts who toured Canada and the United States in the 1970s and 1980s, as well as student organizing and protests related to local opposition to the military dictatorship in Greece. The records reflect the impact that the cultural and political activities of the Greek community in Canada had on political affairs in Greece. The fonds also includes handwritten and typed correspondence and other printed material created or received by George Papadatos, as well as photographic material from Papadatos' later life in Greece, where he operated an antiquarian bookstore. Fonds consists of records pertaining to the personal and professional life of Italian-Canadian artist Luigi Nasato. These records, dating from 1931 to 2015, document Nasato’s early life and education in Istrana, Italy, as well as his emigration to first Argentina and then Toronto, Ontario. The records primarily pertain to Nasato’s artistic output and include several hundred drawings, sketches, paintings, and preliminary studies created over the course of his career, as well as a number of awards granted to Nasato on the basis of his artistic contributions. Many of the artistic works included in the fonds relate to projects completed in Toronto and environs, particularly to mosaic projects created by Nasato at a number of churches in the region. Fonds also includes notes on art history and artistic technique created by Nasato as both a student and professional artist, as well as miscellaneous textual and financial records pertaining to the practicalities of his artistic career. Also included in the fonds is an extensive collection of photographs and clippings, compiled by Nasato over the course of his life, most of which document works of art created by Nasato and others.

It also includes conference and workshop materials, pedagogical documents, drafts of Sternberg's Cinema Canada column, materials related to screenings, exhibitions, and festivals, as well as correspondence with friends and colleagues, including contemporary Canadian experimental artist Michael Fernandes and former Canadian Parliamentary Poet Laureate George Elliott Clarke. Accession 2008-032 includes the editorial files for "Imagination in action : thoughts on creativity by painters, sculptors, musicians, poets, novelists, teachers, actors," a book edited by Malyon that was published by Mercury Press in 2007. The project began with interviews with Marjory Smart and Milt Jewell in 1990-1991 to explore the concept of creativity, and was resumed in 2005 when Malyon invited submissions from many people who created original works in different disciplines. The records files include correspondence, edited manuscripts, annotated page proofs, and correspondence with the publisher regarding the contract, design, and promotion of the book.

Accession 2009-044 consists of manuscripts for even-numbered brunches, copy edited page proofs, and promotional material for the book written with bill bissett, "griddle talk : a yeer uv bill n carol dewing brunch" (Talonbooks, 2009), as well as documents relating to Malyon's work as an instructor at the Maritime Writers' Workshop in 1998, her literary readings in 2008, and correspondence with Fred Cogswell and K.D. Miller.

Accession 2016-040 consists of draft manuscripts for a collection of short stories ("Underneath the Water With the Fish") and a book about writing "Writing Matters" as well as promotional material and reviews about previously published work.

Fonds consists of: personal and professional correspondence, including letters and email exchanged with family and individuals involved in Canada's literary community such as Steven Heighton and David Helwig; essays written while Cowan was a student; correspondence, notes and drafts of her work as a translator; research notes and drafts of her short stories and novels; professorial records including tenure and promotion files, course evaluations, and other material that documents her career as a professor at l'Université de Québec at Trois-Rivières; correspondence and manuscripts relating to her involvement with the literary community in Québec; and examples of Cowan's work with digital photography. Accession 2007-052 includes photographs of Judith Cowan receiving the Governor General's Literary Award in 2004.

Fonds consists of records documenting Doob’s activities as a professor at York University and scholar of medieval studies, dance, and medicine. A small amount of personal memorabilia and ephemera of her early life related to her education are included.

Fonds consists of copies of published and unpublished papers, journal articles, conference papers and reviews written by Lessem, course material, a copy of his M.Litt thesis, "The Style and Structure of Frescobaldi's Keyboard Ricercari and Fantasias", and other material that documents his career as an academic.

Fonds consists of musical recordings on one 1/4" audio reel, performed by Deva Prasad Das on vocals and mardal with Shankaran on flute. These performances were intended to accompany the Deba Prasad Das style of Odissi dance. Consists of three separate performances: "Nindata Chandana" Abhinaya, Ashtapadi (an expression-based dance); "Natangi" and a Boomija folk dance from Orissa. These recordings were made to accompany performances by Sukanya Rahman.

Also includes four VHS recordings of performances by Rahman in various venues in the 1990s.
