“Far Cry” (Requited) : 1st assembly

File consists of a draft of York’s novel “Far cry” in assembly form. The assembly is created by cutting out and taping typescript scenes together to form long scrolls of writing. The assembly has been flattened to facilitate access but some pieces of paper have become detached from their original position within the text. The title “Requited” was used on drafts before publication.

“Four for the Show” : 1953 (circa)

File contains photographs of the cast and crew of “Four for the Show” ca. 1953, namely Birt Niosi (conductor), Shirley Harmer, George Murray, Billy O’Connor and Libby Morris; also includes a photo of their first show from Dec. 31, 1952 (new year’s eve).
