File consists of typescript copies of letters written and received by William Lyon Mackenzie King, mainly on the subject of economic policy. Letters are organized by the following subjects: tariff, Canadian national railways, imperial relations, railway freight rates, immigration, the Liberal party, social philosophy, Canadian-American relations, the political situation in 1921, the political situation in 1925, 1926, and 1930. Letters are accompanied by a table of contents.

File pertains to Drache's academic research, teaching and writing while teaching at York University. Included are letters concerning the completion of his MA thesis at Queen's University.

Naylor, possible related to the writing of his book, "A Practical Guide to Canadian Political Economy", with Wallace Clement. Also included in the file is a letter pertaining to a meeting of the Canadian Political Science Association in 1976, an Oct. 1976 programme and contact list for a conference entitled "Perspectives for development - Latin America/Canada", and a notice for a 1977 Carleton University seminar on equality and Canada.
