According to Petrilli, the file consists of a “…consistent corpos of mostly handwritten letters [covering] the years between 9 September 1887 and March 1889… Some letters are typewritten and bear editorial comments, though only one, dated 30 September 1887, from Arnold to Welby, was included … [in]… Echoes of Larger Life.” The following letters have been transcribed and published in Petrilli’s Signifying and Understanding: Reading the Works of Victoria Welby and the Signific Movement:
