Graven) entitled "The inside story: the abolition of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Toronto", correspondence regarding publication of her article in City Magazine '82, an open letter from the PhD students in the department and a letter from Rahder about the closure, and memoranda regarding a report to review the future of the department as well as a copy of that report.

Brownell Exploration Group

File consists of correspondence related to the Brownell Exploration Group, a syndicate which comprised of a group of claims in Joannes Township, Quebec. Primarily includes correspondence between Robert Hoffman and George F. Brownell, regarding exploration of Rouyn, Quebec and a zinc deposit near Kingston, Ontario, 1924-1926; correspondence between Brownell, Hoffman, and Olaf Boe, of Norway, regarding the Brownell Exploration group; memos of work done in the Joannes Township in 1924; and a hand-drawn sketch which illustrates the Wright-Hargreaves mine, near Kirkland Lake, Ontario, undated.

The file also includes an unrelated file: typed pages titled "Diary of R.D. Hoffman" which include physical and technical descriptions of Coniaurum mine, 1935.

File includes vertical cross-sectional diagrams depicting the "A" vein and the "B" vein of the Arrowhead gold mine. The diagrams indicate sample locations.

File consists of the journal notes, telegrams, and sketches made by Robert Hoffman. Several telegrams and notes are written in code and deciphered. File includes a map of the Waco claims near Thompson Lake, Northwest Territories, and unlabeled drawings of mine shafts.

File consists of correspondence between Arnold Hoffman and Fennell, Porter, McLean, & Davis, a law firm representing Gold Operators (Canada) Ltd. The subjects of the correspondence are taxes and stock transfers related to Wright Rouyn Gold Mines Limited. File also includes the minutes from two Wright Rouyn Gold Limited directors meetings, 22 February 1946 and 19 November, 1945.

File consists of records related to a transaction between Gold Operators (Canada) Ltd. and Haras Corporation wherein Gold Operators (Canada) Ltd. paid $500 for 4,000 shares of Wright Rouyn Gold Mines Ltd. stock in 1939.

File consists of records related to a proposal to develop a road which would service mines in the Pershing region, near Lac Gueguen and Lac Vauquelin, Quebec. J.J. Mining proposed that Pershon Gold Mines Ltd. contribute funds for the road, to which Robert Hoffman declined. Files include correspondence pertaining to the issue and a map showing the proposed road.

Croydon-Rouyn : R.D.H. : stakings

File consists of: records pertaining to the staking of Croydon Rouyn mines, including Robert Hoffman's notebook, 1943; correspondence related to the stakings; a transport of mining rights contract signed by Robert Hoffman, undated; a colour map of the Rouyn district; a drawing of the Wright Rouyn Gold Limited assay plan; and two sketches of the area.

Sunset Yellowknife

File consists of correspondence related to Sunset Yellowknife mines in the Northwest Territories, predominantly addressed to Fred W. Thomson, President of Sunset Yellowknife until 1950. Correspondence also includes some geological reports and assays. File contains two lists of shareholders, 1945-1946. Fred W. Thomspon, Robert Hoffman and Arnold Hoffman resigned from Sunset Yellowknife Mines Limited in 1950, but they retained substantial shares in the company as directors of the Thompson Prospecting Syndicate, which held 700,000 shares in 1945 and 500,000 in 1946.

File consists of: a report submitted for the annual general meeting of the Gurkha Welfare Fund Council (UK), detailing the construction projects of the GWA(C) in 2002/2003; a report by Colonel R.C. KICS [Kids in Creative Stuff] : project coordination

File pertains to an evaluation of the Kids in Creative Stuff (Not Drugs) (KICS) program conducted by Rahder. Records in this file include Rahder's project proposal (Oct. 1992), her interim report (Apr. 1993), a KICS pamphlet, a guide for classroom observations, revised timeline and budget, instructions for interviewers, and a pre-program questionnaire for children in the KICS program.
