Mary Louise Bogart (1935- ) and John Edward Page (1923-1989) were affiliated with the Faculty of Environmental Studies at York University and jointly wrote an article on the contribution of James B. Milner in the field of community planning law.

Scope and content
The collection consists of material related to James Milner's career in the area of community planning law and includes a copy of the article written by Mary Louise Bogart and John Edward Page on Milner as well as correspondence relating to its publication. In addition, there is material on the Town Planning Institute of Canada (TPIC), predominantly materials of a historical nature. There are also several audio reels and cassettes of interviews with planners and members of the TPIC who were Milner's colleagues. Finally, there are some microfilm copies of studies done in the area of land conservation. Some of this material was removed from the Milner fonds during the time it was held by the Faculty of Environmental Studies, York University.
