File consists of photographs (many with captions) taken at: the Exile Reading Series at Bistro 990 with readings by John Montague from his new collection of short stories, "An Occasion of Sin," and by Seán Virgo from "Waking in Eden," 23 Sep. 1992 with guests including Susanna Wala and William Ronald; John Reeves photographing German writer Hans Joachim Schaedlich; an evening with poet Hayden Carruth in New York City; and the opening of Claire Wilks’s exhibition of paintings and drawings at the Sunnen Gallery in New York, 31 Oct. 1992, hosted by Black mystery writer Walter Mosley. The notebook also contains several pages of annotated handwritten drafts of creative writing.
