Accession consists of a compact disk containing 373 electronic files for 11 of Bruce Pittman's films. The files were created to manage the production process, including correspondence, script notes, casting, selection of locations, set design, schedules, daily edit notes, sound effects, and music. Accession consists of Bruce Pittman’s production records as director of the television mini-series, Shattered City: The Halifax Explosion (2003) and a copy of the show on digital video disk, as well as videocassettes of several movies made for television that were directed by Pittman: Harrison Bergeron (1995), Captive Heart: The James Mink Story (1996), Undue Influence (1996), To Brave Alaska (1996), To Dance With Olivia (1997), Flood: A River’s Rampage (1998), The Secret Path (1999), and No Alibi (2000).

Also included are DVD copies of two of Bruce Pittman's works -- Shattered City : The Halifax Explosion (director, 2003) and The Last Movie : a film noir (director, 2012) -- a compendium of his work on DVD, A Life of Movies (2 volumes, 2017), and a scrapbook containing photographs, images of textual documents, and personal reflections printed with the title, A Life of Movies 1956-2016.
