Accession consists of records pertaining to the operations of the Obsidian Theatre Company and its productions between 2011 and 2014. Records include production agreements, forms and invoices; correspondence; a 2012 strategic plan; grant applications; programs, flyers and posters; Board of Directors agendas, minutes and reports; costume drawings; photographs and video recordings of performances.

Costume design : drawings and notes

File consists of notes with related colour printouts of costume drawings and images of source material for Obsidian productions “The Whipping Man” and “Shakespeare’s Nigga”.

A.W. Nadine Grant costume design portfolio

Item is a magazine-style printed portfolio comprised of Grant’s costume sketches and photographs of the final costume on stage (for non-Obsidian productions). Grant was a design apprentice for Obsidian.
