The fonds documents Paul James Dwyer's activities as a dancer, choreographer, and writer. Records consist mainly of correspondence and subject files relating to various dance companies such as Dance Oremus Danse and the Isadora Duncan School of Modern Dance. There is some documentation on grant applications. Also included are dance programmes, Dwyer's published articles and photographs of colleagues such as Jeanne Bresciani, Lori Belliveau, Nadia Chilkovsky, and Anita Zhan. There are video and audio recordings of interviews and dance performances. Accession 2007-059 includes correspondence with Madeleine Lytton regarding her dance career in the tradition of Isadora Duncan, correspondence and other documentation regarding the collections of books, photographs, and other material pertaining to Duncan owned by Leo and Lillian Loewenthal and Howard Holtzman, Ella Bobrow's book on Irina Odoevtseva, a program for the memorial dance performance for Hortense Kooluris, and promotional material for a wide variety of performers involved in dance, opera, and baroque music.

File consists of correspondence re. Isadora Duncan 35mm slide (1999) and correspondence with Kirby Kooluris re. "Carrying on the Duncan Dance" (2009).

Cultural events : seasonal programmes 2011-2012. - File consists of seasonal programmes for: Academy concert series, Array Networks, The Musicians in Ordinary, New Music Concerts, Pax Christi Chorale, St. Olave's Church, Scaramella, The Toronto Consort, Toronto Recorder Players Society, University of Toronto's Faculty of Music, Windermere String Quartet, Jorgen Ballet Canada, and West Queen West neighbourhood guide.

Accession consists of financial records from Dance Oremus Danse including donation receipt books, dance programmes, as well as related ephemera, including a mounted poster.

Accession consist sof the records of P.J. Dwyer and Dance Oremus Danse, including correspondence, notes, and other documents relating to Dwyer's trip to Japan in November 2010 to give a performance and master class on Isadora Duncan for the Tokyo Dance Association of Advanced Professional Training Colleges, and programmes, newsletters, brochures, and other ephemera for cultural events held in Ontario.
