Draft writing

File consists of mostly handwritten, unidentified drafts by Powe, notes, and newspaper clippings. Included in the file is a document entitled “The working methods of an author: preface prepared by Pierre Berton as an introduction to his papers deposited with McMaster University Archives” (Jan. 1990).

Archives : York University : donation of personal papers

File pertains to Powe’s donation of his personal papers to the Clara Thomas Archives and Special Collections at York University and Powe’s financial support for the Kent Haworth Archival Research Fellowship. Records include correspondence, printed e-mail, an inventory, background information and notes by Powe, and a transfer of ownership agreement. Also included is correspondence pertaining to Powe’s donation of photographs to the Provincial Archives of Alberta.
