Series consists of records documenting the scope of Rahder’s work as a planning consultant and academic and her involvement with professional organizations and groups. These records include conference materials, papers and reports written by Rahder, project proposals, technical drawings, photographic slides and reports relating to her consultancy work, research materials, drawings, correspondence and notes.

Teaching files

Series pertains to Rahder’s work teaching urban planning and environmental studies courses at the University of Toronto, Ryerson Polytechnical Institute, Queen’s University and York University. Records in this series include course syllabi, reading lists, bibliographies, lecture notes, course handouts, teaching evaluations, student reports, memoranda, and a SSHRC grant application file.

Social sustainability, diversity and public space in three Canadian cities : SSHRC grant materials

File consists of records pertaining to Rahder's SSHRC-funded research project, "Social sustainability, diversity and public space in three Canadian cities". Records include a table of contents, e-mail, the original project proposal, notice of award, minutes from meetings of the project team, agendas and minutes from focus groups, notices, programs and presentation notes for project-related events, project data, the final SSHRC research report, and a CD-R containing newspaper searches related to the project. Included is e-mail pertaining to permissions acquired by Rahder from her co-investigators on this project to donate this file to the Clara Thomas Archives and Special Collections.

File consists of correspondence, predominantly letters of praise for the book, Canada's War: The Politics of the Mackenzie King Government, 1939-45 (1975).

File consists of correspondence, printed e-mail, forms and course material pertaining to Powe’s involvement with the European Multiple MOOC (massive open online courses) Aggregator (EMMA), specifically his role as an instructor of two e-seminars for project partner Universita Delgi Studi di Napoli Federico II.

Fonds consists of personal and professional correspondence including correspondence with fellow writers such as John Metcalf, Guy Vanderhaeghe, Robyn Sarah, Adele Wiseman and Ralph Gustafson among others, academic and teaching files that document his career as a student at the University of Toronto and Cambridge and professorial files for courses taught at York University. It also includes editorial files that document his work with fellow poets at The Banff Centre for the Fine Arts and writing files including notes, drafts and manuscripts related to his own publications. Accession 2011-032 includes correspondence from Northrop Frye giving Coles advice about an academic career, book reviews written by Coles for "The Globe and mail" from the 1970s to 2001, seminar notes for the Humanities course, "Works & days," reviews of his writing, and drafts of the book of poetry, "Where we might have been" (2010).

Writing files

The series consists of notes, drafts and proofs of collected and uncollected poems written by Coles including manuscript drafts of his collections "K in love," "The prinzhorn collection," "Forest of the medieval world," "Kurgan," and "How we all swiftly," among others. It contains research material, notes and drafts of his novel "Doctor Bloom's story," his autobiographical work "A dropped glove in Regent Street," a poetry collection "Where we might have been," correspondence with publishers, interviews with Coles, reviews of his work, publicity material related to his writing, and book reviews written for "The Globe and mail." It also includes the manuscript for Tomas Transtomer's "For the living and the dead," which Coles translated from Swedish as well as correspondence between Coles and Tomas and Monica Transtromer regarding this work.

Photographs and memorabilia

Series consists of a variety of items created or accumulated by Crosbie pertaining to her personal and professional life, including photographs, miscellaneous ephemera, event notices and programmes, award certificates, a diploma, posters, drawings, a painting, an art print, t-shirts, and a sweater belonging to Mordecai Richler.

Jane/Finch Community and Family Centre

File consists of historical summaries and annual reports of the Jane/Finch Community and Family Centre. It also includes testimonials and correspondence with other aid organizations, such as the Children's Aid Society. A testimonial of the work conducted by Jane/Finch Community and Family Centre staff is provided by Mary Lewis, a community development worker for the Children's Aid Society, who worked closely with the Centre's staff.

Correspondence

File consists of e-mail, letters, a photograph, greeting cards, royalty statements, grant application forms, festival programs and schedules, mainly pertaining to Pick's writing, teaching and readings. Correspondents include Trevor Cole, Russell Smith, Elana Rabinovitch, Karen Connolly, Lynn Henry, Alissa York, Miriam Toews and others, as well as e-mail from fans.

Correspondence and program materials : Humber School of Writers

File pertains to Pick's work as a writing instructor at the Humber School of Writers. Records in this file are correspondence exchanged between Pick and her students, correspondence from Antanas Sileika, program handouts, and writing by students with annotations and comments by Pick.

Falling in love with poetry / edited by Kim Jernigan

Item is a copy of this anthology published by "The New Quarterly", featuring a piece by Pick entitled "Falling in Love with Poetry, or, Falling in Love with Nothing" (p. 76). Item is accompanied by a letter from Kim Jernigan.

File consists of ephemera including a holiday card from Michaëlle Jean and a conference name tag, invitations, letters and notices, an agenda for the Applied Research Symposium on Legal Empowerment of the Poor, a program for the 2016 Governor General’s Awards in commemoration of the Persons Case, a program for the 8th Annual South African Women for Women Awards (2004), and a Government of Canada document entitled “The why and how of gender-sensitive indicators: a project level handbook” (1996).

Far Cry : language

File consists of handwritten notes pertaining to the vocabulary, cadence, and syntax of several characters and particular language associated with geographical locations and other research.

Event Ephemera

File includes ephemera from events that included Priscila Uppal as a guest, nominee or recipient of accolades related to her work and research.

E-mail and greeting cards

File consists of e-mail exchanged between Swan and Marc Cote, Fred Hacker and Barbara Gowdy, as well as greeting cards sent to Swan on the occasions of her birthday, Christmas and marriage to Patrick Crean.

Manuscripts and related files

Series consists of drafts and proofs of articles, poems, plays, short stories, essays and novels written by Swan, including "Unfit for Paradise", "The Biggest Modern Woman of the World", "The Last of the Golden Girls", "The Wives of Bath", "Stupid Boys Are Good to Relax With", "What Casanova Told Me", "The Western Light" (previously titled "Black Ships" and "The Hockey Killer"), and "The Dead Celebrities Club". Series also includes research material and notes pertaining to Swan's writing projects, correspondence with publishers and collaborators, lecture notes pertaining to Swan's book tours, promotional material for several of her books, as well as screenplays for the proposed and/or produced films of "The Biggest Modern Woman of the World" and "The Wives of Bath".
