U.S.S.R. reports

File consists of two reports on Sylvia Woodsworth Campbell's trip to the Soviet Union to attend the International Federation of Library Associations Congress. The reports detail her experience on the trip and her reflections on higher education in the Soviet Union, particularly for part-time students. The reports were sent to Marion Royce of the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education and Harry S. Crowe, Dean of Atkinson College.

Women's tour to China and report to CESO

File consists of records related to Sylvia and Harry Campbell's visit to China in 1984 as teachers and consultants for the Canadian Executive Service Overseas (CESO). Records include: correspondence with the Anhui Women's Federation, the Canadian China Society, and the CESO; a newspaper clipping about the tour; a dossier on Chinese culture, climate, and politics created by the CESO; postcards from the South China Institute for Technology; and pages of comments written by Sylvia Campbell in her evaluation of two essays written by her Chinese students.

File consists of records related to a discussion held at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) on 9 May 1968. Included are several working papers sent to Sylvia Woodsworth Campbell and her preparatory notes made prior to the discussion. York undergrads : role conflict

File consists of a paper written by Viola Edwards, Paulette Handelsman, Nina Herman, Selma Lightman, Diana Verney, and Fran Witzell, titled, "Problems of Role Conflict Among a Group of Undergraduate Housewives and Mothers." The paper was written for a Sociology 301 course and sent to Sylvia Woodsworth Campbell. File also includes a letter of thanks from Campbell to the students.

York University : status of women

File consists of: copies of a newsletter "Status of Women, York University," May 1972; communications from the York University Student Association, 1 December 1972; newspaper clippings; a list of faculty and students who expressed interest in a York University Senate Committee on the Status of Women; and course outline for a "Women's Studies" course to be offered in 1971-1972. File also includes a brochure which describes the 25th session of the Management Training Course at the School of Business Administration, University of Western Ontario.
