Conference : Australia 1993 : "Spying on the young"

Council on Higher Education : Ginger Group 2005

File pertains to Axelrod's participation in 19 April 2005 meeting of the "Ginger Group", an informal group of academics and education professionals sharing ideas about the proposed Council on Higher Education, recommended in the Rae Report. Items in this file include a summary of discussion from that meeting as well as Axelrod's notes and a letter from fellow attendee David Lindsay.

File consists of Axelrod's notes and speech for his 10 June 2008 retirement dinner, as well as written remarks about his retirement as Dean of the Faculty of Education by Alice Pitt, and joke lyrics to a song entitled "Hey, Paul" to the tune of "Hey, Paula".

Dean search 2007

File consists of correspondence, notes, a memorandum and job descriptions pertaining to the search to replace Axelrod as Dean of the Faculty of Education in 2007. Due to the absence of an appropriate candidate, Axelrod was asked to stay an extra year, which he did. Alice Pitt was eventually selected to succeed Axelrod in July 2008.
