File pertains to Powe's involvement with an initiative to open the McLuhan Centre for the Study of Literacies at Stong College, York University. Records include a grant agreement, meeting notes, correspondence and e-mail, sample logos, a project summary, presentation slides and a budget proposal.

McLuhan Literacies Speaker Series

Frye-McLuhan debate at York University

File consists of four video recordings, with a left camera view and right camera view, of a debate by Powe's students on the theories of Northrop Frye and Marshall McLuhan held at York University with commentary by Powe and Philip Marchand.
