The fonds consists of research materials of Robert Presthus, including completed questionnaires, research notes, index cards with names and addresses of interviewees, computer print-out sheets and related material for the study that resulted in his publication, 'Elites in the policy process,' (1974). Interviews were conducted with politicians, civil servants and members of interest groups in Canadian provincial legislatures, American state legislatures and Congress, public servants in Ottawa and Canadian provinces, Washington and American states, and with interest groups in both countries.

Accession 2017-034 consists of records created by Jan Whitford and Jackie Kaiser of Westwood Creative Artists in their role as agents for Bonnie Burnard, including correspondence and contracts with various publishers and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation regarding the publication and reprinting of Burnard's novels and short stories, and the donation of the Bonnie Burnard fonds to York University.

Accession 2008-036 consists of programmes, scripts, reviews, and photographs for theatrical works produced and directed by Andre, as well as written by Andre and several other playwrights.

Records relating to the gold mines at Wright-Rouyn, Arrowhead, and Thompson-Lundmark include: maps and sketches, photographs, geological studies, reports, and assay reports. Files also contain records pertaining to Stadacona Rouyn, Sunset Yellowknife, Junior Frood, Coniaurum, Algood, Pershon, Resenor, Michipicoten, Croydon Rouyn, and El Canada mines, including geological reports, and correspondence. Accruals to this fonds consist of Hockin’s files from his work as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada, which discuss issues such as sales practices for mutual funds, industry standards and self-regulation, educational initiatives within the industry, and the impact of international events upon the market value of securities. Accession 2015-036 consists of files created by Hockin as Chair of the Expert Panel on Securities Regulation between 2007 and 2009, which include correspondence, research reports, documents on principles, regulatory models, and consultation with stakeholders, working notes, newspaper articles, and draft and final text of the panel’s report. This accession also includes notebooks kept by Hockin while serving on the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund from 2009 to 2013, containing his notes and personal reflections on global financial stability, income models, quota negotiations, risk management, global liquidity, and other areas of financial policy, as well as the IMF's relationship with countries such as Greece, Germany, and Portugal.

Fonds consists of registers of British vessels employed in the coasting trade on Canada's Atlantic coast. One volume records vessels that arrived at Bridgetown, Nova Scotia, between 1876 and 1906, and the other volume lists vessels that departed from this port between 1876 and 1910. The registers include date of entry, rig and name of vessel, the master's name, port of departure or destination, whether the vessel was carrying cargo or ballast, and the number of tons and crew permitted under transire or coasting license.

Fonds consists of Endicott's Waffle records and includes such items as correspondence pertaining to, and seeking support for, the position paper "For and Independent Socialist Canada," a chronological survey of documents dealing with the Waffle and public reaction as created by the Canadian Labour Congress, documents leading to the Waffle Manifesto, financial documents, supporting material, news clippings, resolutions, and so on.
