Series consists of serial publications in which Alison Pick's poetry and short fiction were published between 1999 and 2010. These publications include "The New Quarterly," "The Fiddlehead," "Arc," "Fireweed," "Contemporary Verse 2," "Exile," "Prairie Fire," and others.

Photographs

Series consists of photographs of or by Alison Pick, taken in the 1990s and 2000s. These photographs pertain to canoe trips taken by Pick; her attendance at literary workshops, writing retreats and readings; publicity photographs; research for her book "The Sweet Edge"; and social gatherings with Canadian writers including Michael Crummey, Michael Winter, Christine Pountney, Steven Heighton, David Seymour, Karen Solie, and many others.

The Journey Prize poster

File consists of a poster produced by McClelland & Stewart to commemorate its 25th anniversary of celebrating new writers in The Journey Prize anthology and an accompanying letter from the publisher. Pick was on the jury in 2011.

University co-op program application

File pertains to a co-op education project application by Pick while a student at the University of Guelph. Included is a letter, a preregistration form and a paper by Pick entitled "Psychosocial factors in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy".

Notice of acceptance : "The New Quarterly"

File consists of a letter from the editors of the literary journal "The New Quarterly" informing pick of their acceptance of her poem "On the Eve of my Birth" for their Fall 2006 issue. Included with the letter is a copy of a newspaper article about the journal featuring a quote from Pick.

Mesic Autorskeho Cteni calendar

Item is a commemorative 2009 calendar from this authors' festival held in the Czech Republic in 2008, a year in which writers from Canada were invited to attend, including Pick. Item includes a photo of Pick at the festival.

Memorabilia

File consists of assorted ephemera and objects collected by Pick mostly pertaining to her literary career, including event nametags and notices, a program, Banff Centre ID cards, a passport, and a Writers' Trust Gala 2014 medal.

J.I. Segal Award certificate

Item is a certificate award for English non-fiction on a Jewish theme, issued to Pick by the J.I. Segal Foundation and the Jewish Public Library for "Between Gods".

Hebrew course materials

File consists of an annotated Hebrew language workbook and a syllabus pertaining to a Hebrew level 1 course taken by Pick at the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre in Toronto.

File consists correspondence, a program and a nametag pertaining to Pick's participation in this event.

Posters

Posters pertain to Pick's reading at the Guelph Public Library, the promotion of the French-language version of "Far to Go" (2 copies), and her appearance the Jewish Book Festival at the Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver.
