According to Petrilli, "[t]he corpus of letter exchanges between Benjamin Jowett only consists of four letters from Jowett in illegible and fading handwriting, and three letters from Welby…" The following letters have been transcribed and published in Petrilli’s Signifying and Understanding: Reading the Works of Victoria Welby and the Signific Movement:
