File consists of photographs of Barry Callaghan and Claire Wilks at the horse races in Saratoga Springs, work being done to the back of the Callaghan home at 20 Dale Avenue, and novelist Christopher Hope; betting receipts from a racetrack; photographs and newspaper clippings regarding the Toronto Arts Awards, 27 Oct. 1993, where Callaghan won the writing and publishing award; handwritten prose regarding his annual trips to Saratoga and remarks about Mavis Gallant when honoured at the International Festival of Authors; published articles about Callaghan’s award, his sense of fashion, and the theft of letters from Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Edmund Wilson to Morley Callaghan from the safe of David Mason Books; and photographs of Barry Callaghan taken in the backyard of his Sullivan Street home for the Toronto Star.
