Video recording of two episodes of the Avramis Greek Show. The first episode aired 18 June 1989 and included highlights from the graduation ceremony at Eastern High School of Commerce, where 800 Saturday Greek Canadian students presented poems, songs, dances, and plays in front of parents, teachers, and Board of Education Heritage Language officials. Speeches by Rick Colling, principal of Eastern Commerce, Wanda Matoskevitch, Curriculum Superintendent, Irene Stoisic, Coordinator Modern Language and Mr. C. Antoniou, officer Greek Community Education department. Also featured were interviews with P. Eleftheriadis, Edication Cosul. and Kathy Erclick, coordinator Greek Community Education Dept. The second episode was recorded on 28 December 1989 and aired on 31 December 1989 and included a New Years message from Archbishop Sotirios, and studio interviews with York University graduate student Christos Verikousis on Greek and European politics, and with Dr. Costas Christofides and Andreas Konikkos on Cyprus. There is also a studio interview with Michalis Mouratidis on a historical album on the Greek Community of Toronto that he recently published at the time of the interview.
