Recording of third and fourth set of concert held at the CCMC Music Gallery, "Musical Relations: Modes of Improvisation." The third set is titled "Pretentious Music" and features three pieces: "Mystic Music," "Imitation Canadian Music" and "Accidential Music" performed by Don MacMillan and others (donmac 1976). The final set is titled "The Nature of the Beast: When Infected with the Tastelessness of Old Haunts Moves Again in the Eye of the Fantasy Still Storming", performed by Don MacMillan (donmac 1976) and Nick Kilbourn and inspired by the work of Hakuin Zenji.

Item consists of the 52 page Mariposa Folk Festival program for 1976, held on the Toronto Islands, Toronto, Ontario, from 25-27 June, 1976. The program was edited by Bill Garrett, designed by Sharon Johnston and advertisements were managed by Mary Whiteley. Program includes a map of the site, a schedule of evening and day concerts and workshops and a list of performer biographies. Also contains several articles including: "Mariposa: An Introduction" by festival artistic director Estelle Klein, an anonymous article titled "Bringing Home the Mariposa", an anonymous article about Mariposa in the Schools, "Crafts at Mariposa" by Skye Morisson, a short article introducing the children's area written by Sharon Hampson and Lois Lilienstein and a financial statement from the festival foundation.

The first speaker talks about the conflict between the Mohawk way of life and the North American way of life, pollution concerns around reservations in Ontario and Quebec, environmental concerns for the future. The second speaker talks about preserving the culture, traditions, and independence of the Mohawk Nation within the United States. The third speaker talks about living conditions and community relations in the Mohawk Nation and the importance of starting a dialogue between the Mohawk Nation and the United States.

Item consists of Barry Travis and an unidentified speaker giving a press conference on the events surrounding Wounded Knee and the incarceration of Black Horse and Leonard Peltier. The first speaker gives a statement on Black Horse, in reference to Peltier, the RCMP, US/Canada extradition; how the speaker got involved, their experience with security around the matter when going to interview Black Horse, questions on RCMP response (charges and imprisonment in preparation for deportation) and legal proceedings around the case. The second speaker discusses the incidents at Wounded Knee, the arrest of Indian people (including Frank Black Horse), and the circumstances leading to the arrest of Leonard Peltier.
