Fonds consists of material that documents his career as a writer and broadcaster and, as such, includes correspondence with publishers, fan mail, research material, newspaper clippings, reviews of his work, notes, drafts and galleys related to his novels and works of non-fiction. The writing files include photocopies of his own letters written to his mother when he was an internee in England and manuscript and photocopies of letters written to Koch from Daria Hambourg and used as research material for his novel, "The Brothers Hambourg". Fonds also includes transcripts of interviews as well as written reminiscences in the form of letters from many former German internees; these letters were subsequently used as resource material for his book "Deemed Suspect: A Wartime Blunder". Fonds includes a complete set of published copies of his books. The broadcasting files contain correspondence, memos, notes and drafts of scripts, scrapbooks and other material that documents his long career with the CBC.

File consists of one audio recording of three speeches given by Edgar Wardwell McInnis delivered in his capacity as university orator: one delivered to Dr. Murray Ross, upon his installation as President on January 24, 1961, the second a convocation speech from June 3, 1964 and finally a toast delivered to honourary graduates of York University delivered on June 1, 1966. It appears these were recited by McInnis in one sitting to record the speeches for posterity.

The collection consists of bound typescripts of diaries, many with photographs included, of Stephen McKenna's travels in South America, the Caribbean, North Africa, France and other countries (1921-1933). There are also typescripts and carbon copies of four plays he composed, including 'Ninety-six hours' leave,' (1917), short stories and articles, some in draft form, other clipped from magazines, and scrapbooks of serialized novels which appeared in newspapers and magazines. In addition, there are photographs of locales he had visited.

The fonds consists of records accumulated by Roy Merrens as a result of his activities as a geographer, professor, and member of various associations, authorities, and boards. The records have been physically arranged by the creator by subject; the original order has been maintained. They include maps, correspondence, minutes and agenda of meetings, mailing lists, reports, drafts, notes, press releases, proposals, copies of legislation, affidavits, telegrams, statistical data tables, newspaper clippings, journal articles, photographs, slides and a postcard. Also included is a file containing articles and reports about the geography, landscape and architecture of York University.

The fonds consists of a typescript of an autobiography by Frank Morriss composed in 1971. In addition, there are notes for an article on the "Winnipeg Free Press", newspaper clippings of articles by Morriss in the "Free Press", and copies of magazines with articles by Morriss.

Mary Louise Bogart and John Edward Page collection
The collection consists of material related to James Milner's career in the area of community planning law and includes a copy of the article written by Mary Louise Bogart and John Edward Page on Milner as well as correspondence relating to its publication. In addition, there is material on the Town Planning Institute of Canada (TPIC), predominantly materials of a historical nature. There are also several audio reels and cassettes of interviews with planners and members of the TPIC who were Milner's colleagues. Finally, there are some microfilm copies of studies done in the area of land conservation. Some of this material was removed from the Milner fonds during the time it was held by the Faculty of Environmental Studies, York University.

contain slides that were used in Pollock's productions and include stills of street scenes in Ireland, Italy, Paris, that have relevance for Joyce's works. Also included are portraits of personalities of the early twentieth century, intertitles, drawings
and prints (the Seven Deadly Sins, religious images, Joycean characters), posters of World War One, and similar material. As well, there are hundreds of slides that were used in Pollock's productions which are primarily identified by the names of the plays, 'Night boat from Dublin,' and 'Giacomo de Trieste'.
