Item consists of a scrapbook of newspaper clippings related to individuals (cast), performances, and advertisements related to productions at the Toronto Opera House (Grand Opera House, Toronto).

Scrapbook is an oversized volume produced by Hart & Riddell Stationers. The volume, originally meant to be an index of a County register, is repurposed as an index of productions put on by the Toronto Opera House throughout the beginning of the 20th century. The front index pages, alphabetized, list production titles along with a corresponding page number where news clippings related to the production have been pasted in. Clippings relate to productions, cast members of productions and advertisements of the opera house.

Item consists of one photograph album from 1922 detailing a summer holiday visit to the Greater Toronto Area by unknown individuals. Photographs show River Credit, Humber River, Weston, York Mills, Bond Lake, Grimsby and Grimsby Beach, Lake Ontario and the Scarborough Bluffs, Exhibition Park, the Toronto Exhibition, Toronto Parliament buildings. The front page quotes a poem by Robert Louis Stevenson.

Accession consists of the daily reports of the Secretary Treasurer of the Provincial Building and Construction Trades Council of Ontario, dated between March 31, 1969 and January 2, 1979.

Fonds also includes administrative records of various Greek Canadian organizations, including constitutions and bylaws, press releases, and correspondence. Fonds further includes materials collected from Greek Canadian community theatre, as well as promotional materials, event programs, and posters from a variety of Greek Canadian organizations. Fonds also includes photographs of individuals.

Series consists of audio recordings used by Thaniel in the course of his work as professor of Modern Greek Studies at the University of Toronto. Recordings include interviews with authors and poets, poetry and prose readings, live theatre recordings, music performances, in addition to discussions and lectures. Also included is a recording of Thaniel reciting his own poetry, as well as a recording of the radio memorial dedicated to Thaniel that was aired in July 1991 after Thaniel’s sudden death in June 1991.
