Three year old Naomi, in the red bathing suit, two year old Akemi in the blue bathing suit and their four month old brother, Steven are recorded by their father Doug on the sunny Vancouver summer afternoon."

Amongst children dressed in outfits celebrating Canada or their country of origin, Naomi is dressed as a pioneer homesteader, Akemi is wearing a kimono and Steven is dressed as John A. Macdonald. The parade and after party were organized by their father, Doug and another neighbourhood parent."
