These records, which date from the 1970s until 2014, document research performed by Newton as she completed her 1987 doctoral dissertation and adapted this dissertation into a monograph in 1995, as well as her work as chief editor of the 2001 publication Voices in the Classroom. The records also document research and administrative tasks performed by Newton in her role as a contributing faculty member within the Department of Political Science at York University.
