Our Native Land

Item consists of an audio recording of the radio show, "Our Native Land", hosted by Bernelda Wheeler. This is followed by interviews with Robert Manuel of British Columbia, Arnold Goodleaf of the National Indian Brotherhood, Joe Dionne of Alberta, Doug Cuthand of Saskatchewan, and Francois Paulette, giving a provincial perspective on the idea. The program ends with a summary of the concept of Indian self-government from George Manuel, the head of the Union of British Columbia Indian Chiefs, several sound bites on the theme from unidentified sources, and a program sign off from Bernelda Wheeler.
