Series consists of materials accumulated by Hutchman primarily pertaining to his early life, family, travels and career as a poet. These records include an award certificate, posters and notices for his poetry readings, newspaper and magazine clippings featuring his published poems, essays and reviews about his work, notes from presentations given, ephemera, and copies of publishers’ catalogues featuring his books. Included in this series are personal photographs of Hutchman, his family and friends, as well as other poets and writers.

These records, which include court documents, correspondence, production materials, newspaper and magazine articles, interview transcripts, prison records, reports, notes, and audiovisual materials, document Burke's research work, interviews conducted and her involvement in the production of film shoots.

Johnny Chase, Secret Agent of Space was a space opera radio serial that was broadcast for two seasons on CBC Radio between 1978 to 1981. The show was set 700 years in the future, and was created by Royal Canadian Air Farce comedian Don Ferguson along with Henry Sobotka. Records include scripts, broadcast recordings, budget documentation, and promotion and ratings information.

Consists of ratings information and audience research tracking the popularity of Air Farce radio and television programs.

SketchCom was a project developed by Abbott and Ferguson to provide opportunities to promising new comedians and comedy troupes to develop and broadcast their work with the assistance of experienced and successful mentors. The SketchCom series was broadcast on the CBC network during 1998-1999. New comedic talent included several persons who went on to national prominence including Shaun Majumder, Gavin Crawford, and Bob Martin. Records include creative and production files, contracts, sketch ideas, audio/visual recordings of the productions, etc.

Series consists of records documenting a proposed sitcom project about a former Prime Minister to be played by Don Ferguson. Records include the project proposal, contracts and budget documentation, press, publicity and audience test information, outline, pilot and scripts, as well as videotapes of the first two episodes that were shot. The project was subsequently shelved.

Series consists of audio recorded interviews with members of the Jewish diaspora that immigrated to Palestine during the 1920s – 1950s from countries around the world including Germany, South Africa, New York and Poland. Reference is made to a world event an individual was involved in or the place(s) they came from and the year they immigrated. The interviews were used in Ben Wicks’s published book “Dawn of the Promised Land.” Other material includes interviews for the Ben Wicks television show and humorous stories told by Wicks.

Series consists of video recordings of episodes from the “Ben Wicks” television show that aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) from 1979-1981. In the series, Ben Wicks interviews famous people, politicians and people with unique jobs. Each episode contains drawing lessons from Ben Wicks and two, two minute commercial breaks with a black screen. The interviews were conducted over several years in the mid to late nineteen seventies. The series also contains videocassettes for several of Wicks’s literacy projects, a recorded speech he made at an award function, and a brief recording of Mila Mulroney discussing the success of the Canadian Children’s Fund fundraising campaign and book, “Dear World.”

Most of the records in this series have been annotated and edited by Callaghan for re-publication in his three books of collected non-fiction writing, Raise You Five (2006), Raise You Ten (2007) and Raise You Twenty (2011) .
