For three or for years it also published newsletters in French (“Le Monde du Sucre”) and in Portuguese (“Mundo Açucareiro”). These publications carried news of unions, solidarity campaigns, changes in the industry, etc. There were also occasional research papers in English and Spanish, dealing in depth with different issues such as high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), violence, wage comparisons, diversification, women in the industry, Tate & Lyle, etc. Some files include correspondence related to ICCSASW's publications, as well as mailing lists and subscriber information.

Series consists of 2 film reels, photographic material and supporting correspondence and documentation for the series of six short films conceived by cellist YoYo Ma. The episodes, directed by Atom Egoyan Niv Fichman François Girard, Kevin McMahon, Patricia Rozema and Barbara Willis Sweete, feature Yo-Yo Ma performing Johann Sebastian Bach’s Six Suites for Unaccompanied cello in collaboration with artists (including Julie Moir Messervy, Piranesi, Mark Morris, Tamasaburo Bando, and professional ice skaters Torvill and Dean) and through the filter of gardening, architecture, dance, kabuki and ice skating. The project was critically acclaimed, receiving the Gold Plaque from the Chicago International Television Competition, and a special festival award from the Sao Paulo International Film Festival. The projects were broadcast on Canadian television as a miniseries in 1997.

Series consists of records pertaining to the CIBPA Toronto's bursary program, which began in 1957 to assist Italian-Canadian students attending university. The records in this series, which are primarily correspondence, bursary application forms and program reports, document the volume of bursary applicants, the association's promotion of the program and its criteria for selection, and bursary finances. On 26 August 1976, the CIBPA Toronto's bursary program was incorporated and became the Da Vinci Scholarship Foundation. The files in this series include records created before and after incorporation, including records regarding the formation of the Da Vinci Scholarship Foundation.

Series consists of records created and accumulated by Marilou McPhedran, pertaining to the operations and functions of the Gerstein Centre, a City of Toronto resource centre for individuals with mental health problems for which McPhedran served as a founding director and board member. The records in this series document a variety of administrative issues, including the formation of the centre, meetings of its board of directors, and the 1990 re-opening of the centre at 100 Charles St. E. The files in this series consist of correspondence, draft documents, minutes, memoranda, budgets, bylaws, reports, newspaper and magazine clippings, and notebooks.

Series consists of records created and accumulated by McPhedran during and after her term as Corporate Director of the City of Toronto's Healthy City office, from 1991 to 1994. The records in this series pertain to some of the operations and activities of Healthy City, an initiative begun by the City of Toronto in 1989 with a focus on social equity, urban ecological management and the internal activities of the Corporation of the City of Toronto. McPhedran's role as Corporate Director included community development and organizational development through outreach and advocacy, research and policy analysis. These records document in particular McPhedran's work on the 1991 State of the City Report, related conferences, committee work, and research relating to the Healthy City mandate. Some records in this series were created and used after her term as Corporate Director ended, as she remained involved with Healthy City initiatives and the Healthy Communities movement throughout the 1990s. Included in this series are files consisting of notes, correspondence, minutes, memoranda, pamphlets, newsletters, reports, newspaper and magazine clippings, notices, flyers, journal articles, and conference materials.

It also contains a copy of Paikin’s demo reel created by TVOntario to display many of his journalistic accomplishments.

Series consists of records created and accumulated by Marilou McPhedran as a consultant to Liberty Health, a supplementary health care provider, from 1996 to 1997. The records in this series document Liberty Health's plans to transition from a not-for-profit corporation to a marketing and sales-driven organization and pertain to McPhedran's work to design and coordinate internal and external working groups to facilitate this process. Also documented in this series is McPhedran's involvement with the Liberty Health-sponsored 1996 Health Matters Expo. The files in this series consist of agendas, memoranda, correspondence, speaking notes, transcripts, draft documents, briefing notes, presentation slides (paper version), press releases, magazine articles, receipts and invoices, executive summaries, and newsletters.

Series consists of material pertaining to International Sugar Workers seminars, including organizational files, correspondence, budgets, proceedings and reports. One of ICCSASW’s main program areas was the organization of regional and national seminars in collaboration with the relevant sugar workers’ unions. About 20 of these were held over a 10-year period. The two largest seminars were held in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines, hosted by the National Federation of Sugar Workers – Foods & General Trades (NFSW-FGT) and focused on the Asia-Pacific region. From 1995 to 1997 three international seminars were held in Toronto, with an emphasis on providing unions with the latest economic information about their industry, as well as affording an opportunity for networking and building solidarity.

The third manuscript Watching the Neighbours Next Door based on extractions from his journals regarding American politics was submitted for publication in August of 1996.

Dido, the noble Queen of Carthage, has fallen in love with the Trojan Prince Aeneas. While the court celebrates the imminent union of the two monarchs, the evil Sorceress with her coven of witches plots their downfall.
Romance leads to heartbreak and tragedy. Dido & Aeneas stars Mark Morris himself as Dido and the Sorceress, while supporting roles are performed by the Mark Morris Dance Group. Tafelmusik, (the award winning Toronto based Baroque orchestra) provides the accompaniment to a superb cast of vocal soloists including the great mezzo Jennifer Lane. The production was well received in the international film festival junket and received several awards.

Some files also contain technical drawings for the stage and/ or set(s), photographs of performers or sets, sheet music, scene breakdowns, and crew and performer lists.

James Tyrone, the master of the house is played by William Hutt, while Edmund, the consumptive son is played by Tom McCamus. Morphine-addicted mother Mary is played by Martha Henry while Jamie, the elder alcoholic son is played by Peter Donaldson. Martha Burns appears as Cathleen. Coproduced by Rhombus, CBC and Bravo! Television.

Series consists of correspondence, yearbooks, family histories, photographs, collected memorabilia and ephemera related to Christie's immediate and extended family. Aside from more general files, it also contains groups of files specifically related to Chrsitie's father David Wallace Christie, to his ex wife Granier Mortimer Christie and to the Stacey family as well as ephemera in the form of identification cards, awards and certificates belonging to Christie and correspondence exchanged with Margot Christie while Christie was serving with the Canadian Army. There is also information regarding Christie's death including a series of journals kept by his caretaker towards the end of his life.

Series consists of scripts, notes, photographs, articles and clippings related to various theatre productions, television and radio shows with which Christie was involved. It includes material related to productions of "The dream," "Here lies Sarah Binks," "Sweeney Todd" and "Sir John A. MacDonald." It also contains published copies of plays annotated by Christie that demonstrate stage directions and other comments related to his portrayal of his characters in these plays.

The items in this series include sketches in charcoal, pastel, ink and pencil, watercolour paintings, mixed media collages, sketchbooks, notebooks and notes, art show booklets, pamphlets, newspaper and magazine articles, and postcards. Many sketches in this series were likely used in the creation of Greer Allen's figurative raku pottery and sculpture.

Series consists of material created and gathered by GATT-Fly and ICCSASW, in relation to four International Sugar Workers Conferences. Files contain correspondence, reports and notes regarding travel arrangements, participants, expenses, and other elements of conference organization, as well as photographs taken at conferences. The First International Sugar Workers Conference was held in Trinidad in 1977. The Second International Sugar Workers Conference was originally scheduled to be held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in November 1982, but had to be postponed due to complications with travel visas for delegates. It was rescheduled for February 1983 in Toronto, Canada. The second conference established the ICCSASW. The Third International Sugar Workers Conference was held in Santo Domingo in 1987. It was the largest event organized by ICCSASW, with delegates from five continents. The last in the series of four conferences was held in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1993.

The series consists of applications, reports, working papers, notes, drafts, correspondence, newsletters, minutes, notebooks, members submissions, audio and video recordings of workshops, and other material created and/or accumulated by Norquay while she served as chair and member of the committee.

Series consists of material that documents Wiseman's finances and, as such, includes income tax returns including statements of all annual expenditures as well as documents related to her banking, records related to the sale of her family's home and other records related to her parents' finances. It also includes contracts and agreements reached between Wiseman and the Canadian Broadcasting Company and various publishers and material related to the finances of various members of her family.

Series consists of records created and accumulated by Theresa Burke pertaining to the public response to CBC "Fifth estate" documentary "The trouble with Evan" (1994), on which she worked as a researcher and producer. These records document the success of the documentary and viewer feedback, the CBC's decision to run a follow-up program about stories of child abuse experienced by viewers, and the process of selecting subjects for this program. The records in this series include transcripts of phone messages, interview transcripts, a transcript of "The trouble with Evan", newspaper articles, notes, and correspondence.

Series consists of four posters for the 1992 film “Tectonic Plates”. The 104 minute staged performance uses continental drift as a metaphor for the evolution of human culture. Staged in actual location in Venice and a sparse stage and pool, Tectonic Plates was critically acclaimed for its dreamlike imager, theatrical staging and philosophical intent. The production received the Christopher Columbus Award for most original and creative submission, and the most innovative award at the Figueira da Foz International Film Festival in Portugal.

The series consists of research material, notes, manuscript and typescript drafts of Wiseman's novels, short stories, poetry, plays, works of non-fiction, book reviews, speeches and scripts, many of which were written for CBC radio. It also includes publicity material, reviews of her work and copies of articles written about her by others. It contains material related to her novels "The Sacrifice" and "Crackpot", to the plays "Testimonial Dinner", "The Lovebound" and "Someday Sam: A Play, Libretto or Puppet Opera for Children of All Ages" as well as other material that documents her writing process.

Series consists of records created and accumulated by Marilou McPhedran relating to her involvement with the creation the Canadian Women's Foundation, founded to distribute funds to programs and projects assisting the self-reliance and economic independence of girls and women. The records in this series document the activities of the foundation in its first two years, particularly its board meetings and fundraising efforts to secure support from individuals, organizations and institutions, as well as McPhedran's work as interim director of the foundation in 1990. These records include correspondence, memoranda, minutes, questionnaires, notes, contracts, news releases, and invoices. Some records in this series were created by McPhedran's assistant for this project, Vicki Armstrong.

Series consists of files created and accumulated by Marilou McPhedran pertaining to an Ontario Human Rights complaint filed against Osgoode Hall Law School and York University Dean Harry Arthurs and the resulting formation of the Institute for Feminist Legal Research at York University. McPhedran was one of more than 100 lawyers, law students and legal academics who were signatories of this complaint, which charged systemic discrimination against women after Osgoode Hall Law School did not promote Professor Mary Jane Mossman to the position of dean. The records in this series document the process of settling the dispute, the meetings and activities of the complainants' steering committee, and the details of the settlement made between the complainants and York University. These records include memoranda, newsletters, notes, correspondence, minutes of settlement, memoranda of agreement, agendas, reports, draft documents, invoices, and notices.

Series consists of records related to the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations, of which Eric Trist was a founding member. Includes Tavistock publications and histories, notes and clippings by and about Tavistock members, and correspondence and other material pertaining to volume one of The Social Engagement of Social Science: A Tavistock Anthology, (University of Pennsylvania Press, 1990).

It also conatins materil related to her years as a writing instructor at the Banff Centre and, as such, contains correspondence with colleagus including Don Coles, Mavis Gallant, Don McKay, P.K. Page, Jay Ruzesky, Miriam Waddington, Rudy Wiebe, Chris Wiseman and Rachel Wyatt among others.

Series consists of chronologically arranged subject files and/or scrapbooks that were maintained by Christie on an annual basis between the years 1913 and 1984. The material up to 1959 was maintained in bound scrapbooks following which they were maintained as loose material in file folders. In both cases, they contain clippings, reviews, programs, miscellaneous correspondence, photographs and ephemera that document Christie's personal and/or professional life. The early scrapbooks contain Christie's record of Baptism as well as report cards from Riverdale Collegiate and programmes related to his early acting career at Hart House Theatre while he was a student at the University of Toronto. Included are records of Christie's acting career in London, England where he acted as part of the company of the Old Vic among other companies and of his acting career in Canada where he was a long term member of the New Play Society and the Stratford Shakespearean Festival company.

Series consists of typescript scripts by Knowlton Nash, often extensively annotated with handwritten comments that demonstrate his editorial approach to the topic. The scripts are often accompanied by research notes and printed documents that served as Nash's background material for writing the script and preparing for the broadcast. The files deal with Nash's work as a Washington correspondent during the 1960s, his work on Newsmagazine from 1978 to 1981, and news specials, such as the Tokyo economic summit in 1979, the evening of the Quebec referendum on sovereignty in 1980, the Ottawa summit, the launch of the first space shuttle, and the constitutional conference of 1981. The series also includes scripts for Nash's "final word" for the week at conclusion of Saturday's evening news broadcast, 1988 to 1992.

Series consists of records pertaining to Simpson's work in cross-cultural education from the 1970s to the early 1990s, predominantly at the University of Western Ontario's Faculty of Education and the Centre for International Business Studies. The records include lecture notes, articles and readings, speeches, visual materials such as overhead transparencies, course syllabi, reports, teaching materials such as case studies and exercises, correspondence, clippings and student assignments. The subjects documented include teaching students of different cultures, First Nations thought systems and education, education in the developing world, and inter-cultural issues in international management. A number of subject files contain resources on ethnicity, I.Q., social class, compensatory education and language and their effect on learning and success. There are also a number of files inherited by Simpson, created by another professor at the UWO business school, Joseph J. DeStefano. Courses Simpson taught at the business school included "The culturally different child" and "Problems in cross-cultural management." He taught the latter course at UWO in the spring of 1989 and then in Germany at the Koblenz School of Business in the fall of 1989. The series also includes files from workshops Simpson ran in 1980 for CBC North managers following his report on "The use of radio and television for education purposes in the Canadian North -- what can be learned from the experiences of the Third World?"

It contains notebooks, bound or unbound, in which Wiseman kept ideas for stories and works as well as drafts of her work, drawings and other thoughts from her daily life.
