Series consists of chronologically arranged subject files and/or scrapbooks that were maintained by Christie on an annual basis between the years 1913 and 1984. The material up to 1959 was maintained in bound scrapbooks following which they were maintained as loose material in file folders. In both cases, they contain clippings, reviews, programs, miscellaneous correspondence, photographs and ephemera that document Christie's personal and/or professional life. The early scrapbooks contain Christie's record of Baptism as well as report cards from Riverdale Collegiate and programmes related to his early acting career at Hart House Theatre while he was a student at the University of Toronto. Included are records of Christie's acting career in London, England where he acted as part of the company of the Old Vic among other companies and of his acting career in Canada where he was a long term member of the New Play Society and the Stratford Shakespearean Festival company.

Coptic Canadian History Project collection

Accession consists of records pertaining to the history and activities of St Mark's Coptic Orthodox Church in Toronto, including photographs documenting the role of Father Marcos A. Marcos and an article written by Father Marcos entitled "The Copts of Canada". Other records in this collection include event programs, pamphlets, booklets, photographs of special visits, and issues of church newsletters "Hosanna", "The Way", "The Word of Life", "The Building", and "Cathedral". The film follows the efforts of Emily Wang (Maggie Cheung) to rebuild her fractured life after the death by overdose of her washed-up rock star lover Lee Hauser (James Johnston), and her imprisonment on charges of drug possession. She returns to Vancouver where her son Jay lives with Lee’s parents Albrecht (Nick Nolte) and Rosemary (Martha Henry).

Christie family files

Series consists of correspondence, yearbooks, family histories, photographs, collected memorabilia and ephemera related to Christie's immediate and extended family. Aside from more general files, it also contains groups of files specifically related to Chrsitie's father David Wallace Christie, to his ex wife Granier Mortimer Christie and to the Stacey family as well as ephemera in the form of identification cards, awards and certificates belonging to Christie and correspondence exchanged with Margot Christie while Christie was serving with the Canadian Army. There is also information regarding Christie's death including a series of journals kept by his caretaker towards the end of his life.

Series consists of annual reports, proposals, and correspondence pertaining to Armstrong’s role as CHSRF/CIHR Chair in Health Services and Nursing Research, Canadian Health Services Research Foundation/Canadian Institutes of Health Research.

Series consists of production notes, post-production ADR reports, production stills, posters, a ‘making-of’ featurette and original film elements of the 2004 feature film “Childstar”. Written and directed by Don McKellar, the film centers on sitcom icon Taylor Brandon Burns (Mark Rendall), the world’s most famous child actor who disappears while filming in Canada. Don McKellar stars as Rick, the boy’s driver and Jennifer Jason Leigh as ruthless stage mother.

Series consists of a Chinese family's home movies documenting a visit to Niagara Falls, the birth of a new family member, travels to parks across Southern Ontario and the Eastern seaboard, piano recitals, and cherry blossoms in High Park.

Series consists of records created and accumulated by Marilou McPhedran pertaining to the organization and functions of the Charter of Rights Education Fund, which was created to review Ontario legislation for sex discrimination and to ensure compliance with the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. These records document the activities of the fund's committee (including fundraising), its financial resources, Charter Study Days, and audits of government statutes. McPhedran was a co-founder of the fund and member of the finance committee in 1982 and 1983. The files in this series consist of correspondence, grant applications, reports, notes, memoranda, agendas, minutes, and financial statements.

Charlottetown Festival files

Series consists of minutes and reports related to the Executive Committee of the Fathers of Confederation Building Trust (1964-1965, 1971-1974) as well as correspondence with cast members, unions and crews, and a daily journal regarding Moore's work at the Confederation Centre that includes budget notes and related material, blueprints for the Confederation Centre theatre (1962), newspaper clippings and scrapbooks related to the PEI Centennial (1964), the Royal visit and Command Performance (1964). It also includes programmes and posters related to the Festival, material related to the Wayne & Shuster Comedy Team including correspondence, scripts, press releases, and scrapbooks of their visit in 1965. Finally, it contains material related to the performance of 'Anne of Green Gables' at the Charlottetown Festival including account information, box office statements, advertising material and other material related to its run at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto and scripts, prompt scripts, a holograph copy of the music score, newspaper clippings, programmes and photographs related to its performance in Charlottetown.

Series consists of documents created or accumulated by Knowlton Nash in the course of his work with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. The records are generally arranged in chronological order (files with the title, "CBC," in the file list), but many documents were pulled together into subject files on a particular topic. The series includes letters and memoranda involving programming and journalism issues, including the evolving nature of television news coverage, the impact of ratings, and journalistic appointments, as well as mementos from political conventions covered by Nash. These records cover a wide range of topics, including: contract negotiations between Nash and the CBC; Nash's proposals for changes to news reporting; the CBC Correspondents Association; the federal government's control over news coverage during the October Crisis, 1970; protection of sources, including legal action against Nash; the impact of controversial programs, such as the hearings over "Air of death" that dealt with air pollution in 1967 to 1968, and libel actions involving various CBC correspondents; the departure of Lloyd Robertson for CTV News in 1976; the policy governing access by prime ministers to the CBC for broadcasts; Nash's statement to the Canadian Radio and Television Commission regarding the CBC's application to renew its license in 1978; the action by the Canadian Union of Public Employees against the CBC and Knowlton Nash in an attempt to stop journalists from reading the news on television, 1978 to 1980; development of The National and The Journal and the move of nightly news to 10:00 p.m.; Nash's decision to step down as Chief Correspondent in 1988 and his retirement in 1992; news specials on the 50th anniversary of D-Day in 1994; presentations to the CBC Board of Directors on the future on television news reporting during retreats from 1996 to 2001; and an unpublished manuscript on the news show, The Fifth estate. The series also includes several published reports on the CBC, its history, mandate, policies, and future.

Catrographic documents

Series contains maps of Dublin from the Ordnance survey as well as maps of Dublin from the General Post Office Directory. As well, there are copies of the 'Dublin almanac and general register of Ireland', (1847), and several copies of 'Thom's official directory,' for the period (1852-1950).

Caribana working files

Series consists of the working files belonging to Shah including materials from the Caribbean Cultural Committee, a non-profit organization in charge of planning and running Caribana each year from 1967-2006. Files include material created and accumulated by Shah in his role as mas producer and bandleader for Caribana, including: correspondence, band registration forms, schedules of events, and documents to organize the festival's various mas camps each year.

Canadian Women's Foundation files

Series consists of records created and accumulated by Marilou McPhedran relating to her involvement with the creation the Canadian Women's Foundation, founded to distribute funds to programs and projects assisting the self-reliance and economic independence of girls and women. The records in this series document the activities of the foundation in its first two years, particularly its board meetings and fundraising efforts to secure support from individuals, organizations and institutions, as well as McPhedran's work as interim director of the foundation in 1990. These records include correspondence, memoranda, minutes, questionnaires, notes, contracts, news releases, and invoices. Some records in this series were created by McPhedran's assistant for this project, Vicki Armstrong.

Canadian military and post-traumatic stress disorder documentary

Series consists of records created and accumulated by Theresa Burke during the production of CBC "Fifth estate" documentary "Broken heroes" (Oct. 2009), on the subject of Canadian Forces soldiers dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder. These records primarily concern the research and interviews conducted for this production. Also included are research materials and interview transcripts concerning veteran soldiers with cancer and their exposure to depleted uranium on tours of duty. The records in this series include interview and meeting transcripts, correspondence, notes, newspaper and journal articles, audio cassettes, and DVD-Rs.

Canadian Journalism Foundation files

Series consists of documents created or received by Knowlton Nash in his capacity as founding Chairman of the Canadian Journalism Foundation, an organization created in 1990 to promote excellence in journalism through education, dissemination of information, and recognition. These records trace the origins of the Foundation at the Niagara Institute in 1989, as well as its development until Nash left the Board of Governors in 2002. The files contain minutes of the Executive and Awards committees and the Board of Governors, financial statements, correspondence and reports that pertain to all aspects of the Foundation's activities, including strategic planning, fund-raising, and the recognition of outstanding Canadian journalists. The series concludes with a file devoted to the presentation of the Foundation's Lifetime Achievement Award to Nash in 2006.

Canadian Firearms Program Advisory Committee files

Series consists of records accumulated by Marilou McPhedran pertaining to the work of the Program Advisory Committee of the Canadian Firearms Program, formed in February 2003, on which McPhedran served as a member until its disbandment in 2005. The records in this series document the general activities of the committee, particularly its quarterly meetings held in Ottawa, Ontario. Also included in this series are records pertaining to the Coalition for Gun Control, with which McPhedran was associated prior to and during her time on the Program Advisory Committee. These records include correspondence, reports, government documents, agendas, notes, news releases, fact sheets, briefs, newspaper clippings, and presentation slides (paper version).

Canadian Creative Music Collective recordings

Series consists of audio recordings of the CCMC's bi weekly performances and includes recordings by such musicians as Peter Anson, Paul Dutton, John Kamevaar, Nobuo Kubotu, Allen Mattes, John Oswald, Michael Snow, Casey Sokol and Jack Vorvis, among others.

Canadian Broadcasting Corporation files

Series consists of records created and accumulated by Theresa Burke pertaining to her employment at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). The records in this series document Burke's progression from contract researcher to permanent staff producer for "The fifth estate" as well as the nature and extent of her research and production work. Also included are records documenting her participation in CBC professional training courses, labour union agreements and other human resources topics. These records include contracts, correspondence, memoranda, income tax forms, benefit forms, booklets, handbooks, course materials, and production credits.

Canadian Broadcasting Corporation files

Series consists of telecast schedules, correspondence for the Children's Television Department (1982-1987), contractual agreements, files pertaining to the CBC's court case with the Supreme Court of Canada related to "The Boys of St. Vincent" and other material created and or accumulated by John Smith during the course of his work with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

Canada Council Grant Application files

Series consists of applications prepared by the TDT for submission to the Canada Council for grants to support its general operations, to earn funding for its tours or to receive financial assistance for specific projects. Series also includes budgets, post-performance stage managers reports and correspondence related to the grant applications. Series consists of records documenting the business activities of the WECT office, as well as the project's accounting. Bursary program records

Series consists of records pertaining to the CIBPA Toronto's bursary program, which began in 1957 to assist Italian-Canadian students attending university. The records in this series, which are primarily correspondence, bursary application forms and program reports, document the volume of bursary applicants, the association's promotion of the program and its criteria for selection, and bursary finances. On 26 August 1976, the CIBPA Toronto's bursary program was incorporated and became the Da Vinci Scholarship Foundation. The files in this series include records created before and after incorporation, including records regarding the formation of the Da Vinci Scholarship Foundation.

Burnt Toast

Series consists of scripts, casting notes, production materials, film and audio elements, posters and production stills of the 2005 comedic production “Burnt Toast”, directed by Larry Weinstein. The 52 minute production features eight operatic vignettes depicting a different stage of a romantic relationship set in contemporary settings. Developing out of an earlier short film “Toothpaste”, “Burnt Toast” is co-produced by Rhombus and marblemedia, featuring original music and libretti and performances by Mark McKenney, Sean Cullen, Peter Wellington, Dan Redican, Jessica Holmes, Scott Thompson, Leah Pinsent, Colm Feore, Paul Gross, Colin Mochrie, Cathy Jones, and Debra McGrath.

Broadcast journalism files

Series consists of notes, research material, drafts of scripts, memos and other material related to Paikin’s work as a private reporter for CHFI radio and as a staff reporter for the CBC. It also contains scripts and other material that documents his work as a host for TVO’s Between the Lines and Fourth Reading . It includes material, including audio recordings of events and interviews, related to his reporting on a number of topics including the 1983 Progressive Conservative leadership convention, the 1984 Liberal leadership convention and other party conventions and/or elections, Pierre Trudeau’s visit to the University of Toronto in 1984, Ernst Zundel and anti-Semitism in Canada, stories related to metro Toronto such as the debates over the construction of its domed stadium and others. It also contains a copy of Paikin’s demo reel created by TVOntario to display many of his journalistic accomplishments.

Books, articles and speaking engagement files

Series consists of copies of articles written by or about Hoffert as well as notes, drafts, contracts and other legal documents, correspondence with publishers, reviews, publicity material and other documents related to Hoffert's books "The Bagel Effect", "All Together Now" and "The New Client". It also contains drafts of Hoffert's unpublished autobiography and material related to speaking engagements including hard copies of Powerpoint presentations delivered by Hoffert at a number of conferences and symposia.

Books and book chapters

Series contains drafts, manuscripts, and correspondence pertaining to the publication of authored and edited books and book chapters by James. A significant portion of the material focuses on “Seeing Ourselves: Exploring Race, Ethnicity & Culture” (1989) which uses a collection of personal comments and essays, written by students from a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds, to examine what it means to participate in the cultural and ethnic "mosaic" that comprises contemporary Canada) and “Life at the Intersection: Community, Class, and Schooling” (2012) which examines schooling and the education experience of youth in the Jane and Finch neighbourhood. Series consists of records pertaining to meetings of CIBPA Toronto's board of directors and its executive committee. These records, which include minutes, agendas, correspondence and notes, document topics addressed by these bodies, including planning for dinner meetings and special events, reports from association committees, membership applications and cancellations, office administration, financial management, and fundraising and outreach activities. Files in this series also include minutes of CIBPA general meetings and a board of directors' orientation manual.

Biographical Research Files

Series consists of research notes, correspondence, and copies of correspondence, abstracts of land titles and other instruments of ownership, property plans, and wills compiled by Sheldon and Judy Godfrey in preparation to write books on Canadian Jewish history and articles for the "Dictionary of Canadian Biography," as well as speeches to various historical and genealogical societies.

Biographical material

The series consists of Vinci's personal documents and correspondence related to his education and immigration to the United States as Ernst Wreszynski. Also includes newspaper clippings about Vinci and biographical sketches ready for publication. Later accessions include personal and family correspondence between Vinci and his wife, and Vinci and his parents and parents-in-law, and other relatives during the 1930s as they tried to escape Germany. There is some correspondence regarding Vinci's efforts to sponsor his sister-in-law and niece after the Second World War.

Series consists of biographical and administrative records pertaining to the life and achievements of Luigi Nasato. Includes: plaques and certificates; birth, marriage, citizenship, immigration and other governmental records; communion and educational documents; biographical statements and resumes; personal and professional correspondence; clippings and articles about Nasato and kin; Nasato's obituary; and other material.
