Series consists of Toyomasa Fusé’s professional files and media appearances related to his study and publication of research on sociological issues in the 1960s and 1970s and his contributions to the study of suicide and methods for suicide prevention. Series also includes two framed awards relating to his achievements in the field of suicidology.
Fonds consists of manuscripts, personal and professional files, objects, sound recordings and interviews pertaining to Fusé’s expertise in the field of suicidology, autobiographical accounts of his personal life, cultural differences that he observed between North American and Japanese society, and biographical accounts of the Indian nationalist leader Subhas Chandra Bose. The manuscript was written with the working title of "Under the Shadow of Nazism : Culture in West Germany." The accession also includes: an annotated typescript manuscript for Kater's book, "Culture in Nazi Germany" (New Haven, CT : Yale University Press, 2019; correspondence with friends and colleagues; files relating to his research and York University; reference material relating to music in Nazi Germany, and brief works written by Kater; a computer reel used on York University's IBM mainframe computer in the early 1980s when Kater was conducting research for his book, "The Nazi Party : a Social Profile of Members and Leaders, 1919-1945" (Cambridge, MA : Harvard University Press, 1983); and Kater's curriculum vitae, 2023.

Accession consists of a typescript manuscript, "Geographical Guide to Ontario," written by John Warkentin from the late 1980s to 1991, preceded by a summary of the project prepared by Professor Warkentin in March 2023. The manuscript is an impressionistic description of the province based on his field observations, emphasizing physical, urban, and rural landscapes of Ontario, its economic infrastructure, and interrelationships. The manuscript consists of 1,100 pages with 278 maps and 41 tables.
Fonds consists of records pertaining to Reg Whitaker’s writing and research projects and his work as an academic. Records include correspondence, drafts, research materials and subject files.
Whitaker, Reginald, 1943-
Fonds consists of notes, drafts and research material related to the publications "The edge of the world," "Emma's dead," "Headstand," "If I knew I'd tell you," "Lovers and other strangers," "Mixed-up grandmas," "The adultery handbook," "Colville's People" and "Cathedral Women," as well as her poem for "Side by side." It also includes personal and professional correspondence, clippings of stories about Malyon and/or reviews of her work, lecture notes and material related to Malyon's readings of her work, grant applications, writer-in-residence application as well as other material that documents her career as a writer.
Accession 2008-032 includes the editorial files for "Imagination in action : thoughts on creativity by painters, sculptors, musicians, poets, novelists, teachers, actors," a book edited by Malyon that was published by Mercury Press in 2007. The project began with interviews with Marjory Smart and Milt Jewell in 1990-1991 to explore the concept of creativity, and was resumed in 2005 when Malyon invited submissions from many people who created original works in different disciplines. The records files include correspondence, edited manuscripts, annotated page proofs, and correspondence with the publisher regarding the contract, design, and promotion of the book.
Accession 2009-044 consists of manuscripts for even-numbered brunches, copy edited page proofs, and promotional material for the book written with bill bissett, "griddle talk : a yeer uv bill n carol dewing brunch" (Talonbooks, 2009), as well as documents relating to Malyon's work as an instructor at the Maritime Writers' Workshop in 1998, her literary readings in 2008, and correspondence with Fred Cogswell and K.D. Miller.
Accession 2016-040 consists of draft manuscripts for a collection of short stories ("Underneath the Water With the Fish") and a book about writing "Writing Matters" as well as promotional material and reviews about previously published work.

Series primarily consists of George Papadatos’ professional records pertaining to his various activities as an engaged member of the Toronto Greek-Canadian cultural and political community, including materials relating to his involvement with organizations such as the Greek-Canadian Cultural Association, the Greek-Canadian Cultural Workshop of Toronto, the Greek Community of Metropolitan Toronto, the Greek-Canadian Democratic Organization and the Hellenic Canadian Organization, amongst others. Series also includes records relating to Papadatos teaching career at Scarborough College (University of Toronto), employment assisting new Greek immigrants at Eastminster Community Services and activities performed as a music promoter and as owner of the Trojan Horse café. Series includes correspondence, legal and business documents, reports, meeting minutes and agenda, news clippings, scrapbooks, writing and research materials such as journal articles, papers, newsletters, proposals, government and education-related documents, pamphlets and brochures. While consisting predominantly of collected ephemera, file 2014-044/001(04) also contains a number of professional records relating to political organizing. Very few personal records are included, however the series does contain some records relating to Papadatos’ immigrant status and employment. Other items relating to personal events such as invitations to his birthday party and to a farewell event prior to his return to Greece in 1984 can be found in 2014-044/001(02) and 2014-044/001(06).
