Fonds consists of dance notations recorded using Labanotation or Kinetography Laban, created or acquired by Mary Jane Warner and used in her work as a professor of dance. The notations take the form of manuscript symbols hand-drawn by Warner while a student at Ohio State University (including Labanotation for her dissertation), photocopies of works produced by other notators, and printed works published by the Dance Notation Bureau and the Royal Academy of Dancing. The notations are grouped according to elementary, intermediate, and advanced readings, with titles that often include the name of the choreographer and, in some cases, the notator. The works of Doris Humphrey, Ray Cook, Anthony Tudor, George Balanchine, Muriel Topaz, and Ann Hutchinson Guest figure prominently among the notations. Fonds consists of records documenting Lynn Crosbie’s work as a writer, journalist and teacher, including manuscripts, draft articles and poems, published copies of her articles and poems, correspondence, videocassettes, audio cassettes, photographs, notebooks, day planners, lecture notes, research materials, course materials and student assignments. Also included in the fonds are personal photographs, correspondence, ephemera, memorabilia, notebooks and sketchbooks.

Fonds consists of records pertaining to the personal and professional life of Italian-Canadian artist Luigi Nasato. These records, dating from 1931 to 2015, document Nasato’s early life and education in Istrana, Italy, as well as his emigration to first Argentina and then Toronto, Ontario. The records primarily pertain to Nasato’s artistic output and include several hundred drawings, sketches, paintings, and preliminary studies created over the course of his career, as well as a number of awards granted to Nasato on the basis of his artistic contributions. Many of the artistic works included in the fonds relate to projects completed in Toronto and environs, particularly to mosaic projects created by Nasato at a number of churches in the region. Fonds also includes notes on art history and artistic technique created by Nasato as both a student and professional artist, as well as miscellaneous textual and financial records pertaining to the practicalities of his artistic career. Also included in the fonds is an extensive collection of photographs and clippings, compiled by Nasato over the course of his life, most of which document works of art created by Nasato and others.

Fonds contains records include scripts, scores, correspondence and papers, reports, photographs, films, lectures, and interviews documents Applebaum's activities as a composer, conductor, and arts administrator.

Fonds consists of low-level oblique aerial photographs of water sheds and conservation areas in southern Ontario, taken by Wise.

Areas include the Oak Ridges Moraine, Albion Hills, Scarborough Bluffs, the Don River and other areas. Some photographs accompanied by maps with flight paths plotted by Wise.

Fonds consists of three series: diaries recorded in bound journals kept by Mackenzie during his adolescence and adult life; manuscripts of three works of non-fiction; and photo albums and passports of his family,and his life and travels overseas. Mackenzie recorded extensively on local and international political and social events. In his youth, Mackenzie was preoccupied with fascist and socialist movements in Europe. In later life, he became concerned with the influence of American foreign policy and its impact on Canadian sovereignty. His diaries also reflect his interest in films and the theatre, with entries on the deaths of his favourite actors and actresses and frequent entries on the various films and plays he attended in Toronto and abroad. He also wrote about the tours and activities of various royal families, and chronicled his own travels throughout the world in detail, including his extended stays in Australia and England. Mackenzie kept meticulous notes on his employment history and living environment. He also recorded details of his writing activities and his efforts to publish and support himself through writing. Mackenzie kept entries on his social activities in the gay community of Toronto, his relationships with other men, and later in life, his reflections on gay marriage, same-sex legal rights, the AIDS crisis, and the rights of gay couples to adopt and raise children.

The fonds consist of television and film scripts in which Lionel Siegel played a part, either as script writer, author of the story on which the script was based, or in some production capacity. There are also scripts of productions by others which Siegel has collected, some because he was writing scripts for subsequent episodes of the program. The scripts are arranged alphabetically by title and include, 'Ben Casey', 'From here to eternity,' (1979) on which Siegel worked with several others, 'The last westerner,' with a screenplay by Jack Elam and Siegel, several episodes of 'Peyton Place,' 'Rawhide,' (including script for "Corporal Dasovik," for which Siegel was awarded 'Best western TV drama of the year, 1964,) 'Then came Bronson, (1969), episodes of 'The Waltons,' (1972), 'The bold ones,' 'Hoover versus the Kennedys the second civil war,' (1987) and others. There are also story outlines for possible productions, including movies-of-the-week on American network television.

Fonds consists of Briskin's teaching and personal files and files pertaining to her work as the first coordinator of the York University Faculty Association (YUFA)'s Standing Committee on Equity.

Fonds consists of records documenting Libby Scheier's personal life, her work as a writer and as a teacher, her involvement with political organizations and with the Writers' Union of Canada. These records include correspondence, draft poems and other writing, draft manuscripts and proofs for her published works, teaching files, publications, newspaper clippings, personal ephemera and memorabilia, childhood diaries and high school notebooks, college papers and lecture notes from Sarah Lawrence College, copies of published articles and other writing by Scheier, pins, and graphic materials including posters, photographs and paintings.

Fonds consists of letters from Herbert Whittaker to Leonard White and his wife, Margaret.

Fonds consists of material which documents Panitch's long standing interest in British and Canadian labour history including notes, drafts and other material related to his PhD thesis "UK Labour and Incomes Policy" and to his books "The Assault on Trade Union Freedoms: From Consent to Coercion", "The End of Parliamentary Socialism" and “The Making of Global Capitalism”. It also includes research files related to the British Labour Party, new labour left, the Canadian State, political economy and political power, labour in Canada and corporatism, as well as notes and essays from his undergraduate and graduate education, and files pertaining to his editorial work for the Socialist Register.

Fonds consists of correspondence, photographs, diaries, a scrapbook, college yearbooks and transcriptions of oral interviews created and accumulated by members of the Lennox family including husband and wife Fannie Jane Evangeline Watt and William James Wilfred Lennox, and their children William, John Watt Lennox and Elizabeth Lennox Locke.

The majority of archival material relates to John Watt Lennox (1920-1943), who was killed in action in WWII. Correspondence is accompanied by detailed inventory and contextual information compiled by Elizabeth Lennox Locke and her nephew Dr. John Lennox.

Fonds consists of Professor Lorch's professorial and personal papers as a mathematician, academic, civil rights activist and humanitarian. Records document his life in all these spheres and include the following: correspondence from family, friends, academic colleagues and fellow activists; records of his legal battles at various colleges and universities in the defence of civil rights and academic freedom including challenges from the House Committee on Un-American Activities; records that document his and his wife's activism in landmark American events such as the integration of schools in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1954, and the fight for equal rights for blacks in housing in US cities; professorial records and his work as a respected mathematician and scholar; and related books, journals and pamphlets accumulated by him during his decades of work in these areas. Records have been arranged by the archivist into the following series.

These records, which include poetry drafts and manuscripts, notebooks, research materials, correspondence, memorabilia, photographs and audio cassettes, document Hutchman’s work as a poet, editor, interviewer and professor of English.

Fonds consists of professional and personal records created and accumulated by Lawrence ‘Larry’ Grossman as Member of Provincial Parliament for the Toronto riding of St. Andrew-St. Patrick (1975-1987), leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario (1985-1987), and his career activities following his exit from political office. Includes: correspondence; meeting minutes; research notes; briefing notes; reports; subject and clippings files; campaign materials and schedules; speeches; portraits and event photographs; audiovisual recordings of his television and radio appearances and interviews.

The records in this fonds document his contribution and involvement in the “Big Blue Machine” of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario, the numerous Cabinet portfolios he held in the governments of Premier William ‘Bill’ Davis, his two campaigns for leader of the Party, and the end of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario’s forty-two years in government (1943-1985) and the adjustment of the Party’s new role as Official Opposition.

The fonds also includes materials belonging to his father, Allan Grossman, kept by Larry following his father’s death in 1991.

The photographs document the life of a German soldier during World War II. They include portraits of Kurt Czasch and members of the German Army, civilians (possibly relatives?), photographs of environments where he was stationed, movement of troops and material, photographs of dead soldiers, prison camps, military life and related themes. The photographs are of the 'snapshot' variety.

Fonds consists of the professional records of Knowlton Nash including: research notes, taped interviews, manuscripts, correspondence, publicity material and speeches regarding books written by Nash, including his unpublished memoir; print media articles about the CBC and Canadian journalism; newspapers articles by Nash for the British United Press wire service, and freelance columns and articles that were published in The Vancouver sun, Windsor star, and the Financial post; the newsletter, Washington thru Canadian eyes that was written and published by Nash while working as a freelance journalist in the United States; files on broadcast journalism and various projects at the CBC; daily appointment books; and correspondence regarding Nash's awards and retirement. The fonds also includes video cassettes and teaching material for CBC-TV's education program, News in review; notes and scripts for special news broadcasts on significant public events, including economic summits, the Quebec referendum, the repatriation of the Constitution, and Canadian and American elections; correspondence with viewers, colleagues at the CBC, and people with various organizations regarding editorial policies, coverage of major stories, speaking engagements, and Nash's involvement with educational and philanthropic organizations.
