The fonds consists of audio recordings in various formats of performances held at The Music Gallery including performances by artists such as James Tenney, Lubomyr Melnyk, Nihilist Spasm Band, Morton Feldman, bp nichol and Casey Sokol, Roy Kiyooka, Gil Evans, Rob Frayne, Nexus, CEE, Ken Vandermark, Michael Brook, Derek Bailey and Ron Sexsmith as well as audio recordings of the CCMC's performances at The Music Gallery and the master recordings for numerous Music Gallery Editions recordings. It also contains office files consisting of financial statements, season reports, contract with performer, sales reports, grant applications, correspondence with outside organizations, programming proposals, publicity material including press releases, programs, media contact lists, clippings, photographs and other material related to the activities and the performances at The Music Gallery.

Macdonald, Donald S., 1932-
Fonds consists of records pertaining to the personal and professional life of Italian-Canadian artist Luigi Nasato. These records, dating from 1931 to 2015, document Nasato’s early life and education in Istrana, Italy, as well as his emigration to first Argentina and then Toronto, Ontario. The records primarily pertain to Nasato’s artistic output and include several hundred drawings, sketches, paintings, and preliminary studies created over the course of his career, as well as a number of awards granted to Nasato on the basis of his artistic contributions. Many of the artistic works included in the fonds relate to projects completed in Toronto and environs, particularly to mosaic projects created by Nasato at a number of churches in the region. Fonds also includes notes on art history and artistic technique created by Nasato as both a student and professional artist, as well as miscellaneous textual and financial records pertaining to the practicalities of his artistic career. Also included in the fonds is an extensive collection of photographs and clippings, compiled by Nasato over the course of his life, most of which document works of art created by Nasato and others.

The negatives are arranged by subject heading, although there are more subject headings here than in the print series, and tend to be local in nature. Negatives for photographs of personalities have been separated out of the main arrangement.

Series consists of a series of photographic prints, news clippings and printed illustrations of individuals whose likeness was published in the Toronto Telegram. This could include birth, death, marriage, graduation announcements, as well as individuals documented by the newspaper at local events, celebrations, and political, social and organizational activities. Individuals can be ordinary citizens, celebrities, politicians, criminals, socialites, scientists, military personnel, nurses and medical staff, social workers, members of fraternal organizations, clergy and religious, social activists, protesters and others.

Collection consists of records accumulated by the Egypt Migrations project pertaining to the history and activities of Coptic immigrants in Canada and the Egyptian diaspora. It also consists of records documenting the administration, activities, and interests of the project.

Fonds consists of handwritten and typescript novel drafts, source notes, character and scene sketches, and research material accumulated and created by Alissa York as part of her process to write her short story collection, Any Given Power (1999), and her novels: Mercy (2003), Effigy (2007), Fauna (2010), The Naturalist (2016), and Far Cry (2023).

The fonds consists primarily of approximately 50 letters written to Mrs. Thomas Shore, and one to Jennie Shore. Most of the letters were written by Mrs. Shore's son Charles W. Shore, and about thirteen of these were sent to Mrs. Shore by her cousin, Andy Bach. There are also about a dozen letters of recommendations for Ivan Bradshaw Miles Barr.

Records include subject files pertaining to the City of Toronto Council, the City of Toronto Planning Board, Toronto municipal elections, transportation and the waterfront, as well as meeting minutes, periodicals, books, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, a map and directory, reports, papers and briefs.

Stop Spadina Save Our City Co-ordinating Committee fonds
The fonds consists of agendas of meetings of SSSOCCC, correspondence and reports of organizations that pre-dated Stop Spadina, records relating to Metropolitan Toronto Council, the City of Toronto Council and city departments, and the Province of Ontario, including correspondence with politicians, speeches, minutes of meetings, transportation studies of Toronto and other jurisdictions, and related material. There are financial records and receipts from Stop Spadina, briefs presented by it and others to the Metropolitan Toronto Council Transportation Committee and Executive Committee, reports on planning from city and metropolitan departments (Roads, Public Works, etc.), membership applications and membership lists of Stop Spadina, press releases and newspaper clippings, newsletters of Stop Spadina and community groups, brochures, leaflets and related paraphernalia from Stop Spadina. There are audio recordings of Stop Spadina meetings, interviews with news media, speeches and lectures, and of meetings of city and metropolitan councils. There is also a filmed statement by Jane Jacobs and Marshall McLuhan on Spadina titled, 'The burning would,' (1970).

Fonds illustrates Madeleine Boss Lasserre’s career and interests as a music educator of children and adults in Toronto, Ontario. Most of the material was created between 1925 and 1977, while Lasserre was actively employed with the Margaret Eaton School and the Toronto Conservatory of Music. A small subset of the records were created outside of this time span. Records include: Dalcroze teaching and demonstration notes and diagrams; correspondence with colleagues and students; material pertaining to general early childhood education; and material related to the administration and promotion of courses in Dalcroze Eurhythmics. Fonds contains notes and notebooks, pamphlets, programmes, correspondence, clippings and scrapbooks, as well as photographs of Lasserre and other members of the Dalcroze and music communities.

Records include those pertaining to his early life in Scotland, his work as a booking agent and radio host with CKFM, his administrative roles with the Toronto Jazz Festival, and his life as a performing saxophonist. In addition to the administrative contracts, correspondence, notes, travel records, gig and festival memorabilia, sheet music, and other records pertaining to Galloway's career, the fonds includes extensive audio recordings of Galloway's radio show, Toronto Alive, as well as various other recordings created or compiled by Galloway throughout his career.
