Accession 2015-036 consists of files created by Hockin as Chair of the Expert Panel on Securities Regulation between 2007 and 2009, which include correspondence, research reports, documents on principles, regulatory models, and consultation with stakeholders, working notes, newspaper articles, and draft and final text of the panel’s report. This accession also includes notebooks kept by Hockin while serving on the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund from 2009 to 2013, containing his notes and personal reflections on global financial stability, income models, quota negotiations, risk management, global liquidity, and other areas of financial policy, as well as the IMF's relationship with countries such as Greece, Germany, and Portugal.

The fonds consists of correspondence to Paul Sullivan from family members, including 22 letters from cousin Vernon Sullivan written between 1911-1915 and describing the daily life, concerns, and opinions of a young man first as a farm worker, and then teacher, on the prairies immediately prior to enlisting to fight in World War I at the age of 16. There are also ca. 40 letters from brother Edgar Sullivan written between 1914-1943 describing the life of a homesteader who has moved to Saskatchewan to homestead and operate a business during difficult economic times. The fonds also includes diaries (1915-1971), municipal tax notices (1886-1961), personal correspondence, family wills, deeds and mortgages (from 1848), some business papers, 4 newspapers, a child's book, ca. 15 photographs and 3 business ledgers (1934-1950). The letters are arranged chronologically.

Records consist mainly of correspondence and subject files relating to various dance companies such as Dance Oremus Danse and the Isadora Duncan School of Modern Dance. Also included are dance programmes, Dwyer's published articles and photographs of colleagues such as Jeanne Bresciani, Lori Belliveau, Nadia Chilkovsky, and Anita Zhan. There are video and audio recordings of interviews and dance performances. Accession 2007-059 includes correspondence with Madeleine Lytton regarding her dance career in the tradition of Isadora Duncan, correspondence and other documentation regarding the collections of books, photographs, and other material pertaining to Duncan owned by Leo and Lillian Loewenthal and Howard Holtzman, Ella Bobrow's book on Irina Odoevtseva, a program for the memorial dance performance for Hortense Kooluris, and promotional material for a wide variety of performers involved in dance, opera, and baroque music.

The fonds documents Rick Salutin's career as a writer, journalist, playwright and social activist. Records consist of drafts, correspondence and research materials pertaining to Salutin's writing for a variety of publications including Harper's Magazine, This Magazine, the Globe and Mail, Saturday Night, and Toronto Life. Manuscripts and drafts for theatre, television and radio productions, including Fanshen, 1837: the Farmers' Revolt, Maria, Gorongosa, The Mirror of Hockey, Les Canadiens, Men Against the Desert, S: Portrait of a Spy, Grierson and Gouzenko, and Joey, are also part of this fonds, as are manuscripts, reviews and other materials pertaining to Salutin's books Spadina Avenue, Marginal Notes, A Man of Little Faith, Kent Rowley: the Organizer, Waiting for Democracy, The Age of Improv, and The Womanizer. Also included are personal and professional correspondence, photographs, research materials, lectures, articles about Salutin, awards, travel files, audio cassettes of Salutin's works, records documenting Salutin's work as an instructor at the University of Toronto and Ryerson University, as well as photographs, correspondence, writing, and memorabilia from Salutin's childhood and adolescence.

Fonds consists of manuscript drafts and production photographs of the 1976 production of James Reaney's "The Dismissal" by the NDWT Theatre Company at the Hart House Theatre, as directed by Keith Turnbull and co-directed by Lester Kohalmi. The play is based on the 1896 student strike at the University of Toronto.

The fonds documents Clayton Ruby's activities as a lawyer and activist. Records consist of professional correspondence, general files, and subject files. General correspondence is mostly with politicians, colleagues, and the Law Society. Records contained in general files include correspondence and resource materials pertaining to legal and social justice issues, as well as miscellaneous records sent to Ruby. Subject file topics include the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Advocates' Society, Amnesty International, conferences, Law Reform Commission, Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice, the Charter of Rights Education Fund, the Criminal Lawyers' Association, the Writers' Union of Canada, Ruby's newspaper columns and letters to the editor, and his role as book review editor for the Criminal Law Quarterly. Also included are various photographic portraits of Clayton Ruby.

The fonds consists of records created by Sydney Eisen in his capacity as a professor and university administrator in the Department of History and Humanities at York University as well as is research pertaining to Victorian Studies and Frederic Harrison, and involvement with the Victorian Studies Association of Ontario and the Centre for Research of Latin America and the Caribbean. The fonds mainly documents J. David Wood's activities as a student, research geographer/historian and instructor. Records consist of undergraduate course notes, research notes, correspondence, maps, and photographs relating to his 1958 M.A. thesis, "The Historical Geography of Dumfries Township, Upper Canada, 1816-1852", his 1962 Ph.D. thesis, "The Geography of the Nithsdale-Annandale Region, Dumfriesshire, 1813-1816" and other published articles. Also included are teaching notes from Edinburgh University, 1957-1961 and the University of Alberta, 1964-1965, and records concerning his consultancy work on the external review of the Undergraduate Environmental Studies Program at York University in 2000.

The fonds also includes story notes, typescript drafts, proofs, correspondence, cover art and other material that pertain to the writing and revision process for Burnard’s novel "Suddenly." The fonds also consists of edited typescripts, notes and proofs for her short story collections "Women of influence" and "Casino and other stories," typescript drafts for several other short stories Burnard has written, including "Evening at the edge of the water," and items related to her role as the editor for "Stag line: Stories by men." Accession 2017-034 consists of records created by Jan Whitford and Jackie Kaiser of Westwood Creative Artists in their role as agents for Bonnie Burnard, including correspondence and contracts with various publishers and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation regarding the publication and reprinting of Burnard's novels and short stories, and the donation of the Bonnie Burnard fonds to York University.

The fonds consists of audio recordings of unedited interviews conducted by Diana Cooper-Clark with major international novelists. Most of these interviews have been published in her two monographs.

Files in the fonds also pertain to Uppal's work preparing anthologies as editor for 'The Exile Book of Poetry in Translation: Twenty Canadian Poets Take on the World' and 'The Exile Book of Canadian Sports Stories.' Fonds consists of material that documents Pitman’s career as a politician, educator, writer and social activist. It includes personal and professional correspondence, notes and speech materials, newspaper clippings and other material related to his years spent as a Member of Provincial Parliament and as a Member of Parliament as well as his unsuccessful leadership campaign for the federal New Democratic Party in 1971. It also includes his Toronto Star writing files, numerous files pertaining to his education activities both at the provincial and federal levels with a special emphasis on arts education, records that document his tenure as President of Ryerson Polytechnic University, his activities as chairman of Project Ploughshares, his work with the Arts Education Institute of Ontario, as well as an extensive collection of notes, drafts and final copies of speeches delivered by Pitman to a variety of organizations including Elderhostel. The fonds includes correspondence, notes, interview notes, drafts and research material related to his books on Louis Applebaum, Elmer Iseler, the lives of Harry Freedman and Mary Morrison, and Victor Feldbrill, as well as notes and drafts of his as yet unpublished book, "Breakthrough: A Canada For The Twenty-First Century."
